The CAN-SPAM act is made up of many different complex parts. It is a law that sets rules for users of commercial users. Through the CAN-SPAM act people have the right to stop people from emailing them. The person that is no long wanted to email them person can receive tough penalties for going against the other person wishes of not wanting to be emailed. For each email that violates the CAN-SPAM act can be fined up to $40,654 for every email that goes against the act. In my opinion the idea of the CAN-SPAM act is a great idea and should never be changed.
